Queen Arlene (aka Queen Heart and Soul), a person I consider my friend for 18 of these 20 years, looks to be bringing in some heavy artillery:

I may have been the victim of some fake news, I'm taking out my previous statements. thehayride.com is starting to look like it may have a habit of putting out fake news. I can only apologize.

You are not the first nor will you be the last to be fooled by a information scam on the internet. By mixing in just enough truth with a phony story the people who spin this crap are good at catching people into the web they are spinning. No apology is needed since like most who have been fooled yo have pointed out to us it was a mistake. That alone elevates you ahead of most thanks.

Thank you Michael!! I have tried to make lemonade out of a lemon by showing people how I at least try to inoculate myself against the garbage out there in the other thread I started:
http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=34859.0
Now I should mention I'm seeing at least 4 shows out there with Marti Oakley:
1)
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marti-oakley/2018/10/03/ts-radio-network-dialysis-advocatesarlene-mullin-jeff-parke-chili-most
2)
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marti-oakley/2018/10/24/ts-radio-network-dialysis-advocates-warlene-mullins-reverend-ron-caesar
3)
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marti-oakley/2018/10/31/ts-radio-network-dialysis-advocates-with-arlene-mullin-3
I finished this one! There was a very impressive interview with Dr. Ceasar, and then I got a shock to hear fresenius even had the audacity to dump Dr. Peter Laird! Us old-timers know him as a very outspoken patient advocate, medical doctor, and home dialysis patient who has written extensively about the goings-on in dialysis! Also seem to recall he has appeared in quite a few articles. Fresenius and their new ceo has truly lost their collective mind if they are dumping someone like him! Get them Dr. Ceasar!!!
4)

I listened to the 5th show and near the end of the program my recollection heard things like: “You have to hit people over the head with major media!”, “It is important to get validation!”. My first thought was a simple true or false to the topic “Are non-violent kidney dialysis patients really getting terminated from their clinics and left to die?” would be nice. So I wandered over to the snopes.com site, wrote them and suggested it. I added we seem to treat prisoners better. The sunshine and lollipops side of me was very happy! Then along came my little black rain cloud to rain on my parade: “They will either ignore it or it will get lost in the shuffle”. Hmm, how best to get the attention of a news organization about a concern? Why have a good number of people write the same concern in a short time frame to the same news organization! Our voices raised together in a thunderclap! If this works, I see how this could go from getting their attention to being annoying so I’m also suggesting a way to stop it in the following post. Anyway, write any news organization you want! - but maybe start with snopes.com? If you want to save time writing you can copy and paste from the following post.

(see the above post)
https://www.snopes.com/contact/
Snopes asks for your email then you could copy and paste the following to the message section:
----------------------------START----------------------------------
To whom it may concern,
My suggestion for a topic would be:
“Are non-violent kidney dialysis patients really getting terminated from their clinics and left to die?”
A second topic could be:
“Do prisoners with kidney disease really get treated better than everyday kidney dialysis patients?”
To start, a list of patients to inquire about can be obtained at:
https://dialysisadvocates.com/patient-stories/
For other info I would suggest recent blogtalk radio shows with links found at the following message board thread:
http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=34854.0
Media Dialysis Advocates has been involved in:

If you wish to stop receiving these messages you could post to the above thread or email NoMoreDumpedKidneyPatients@gmail.com - or do both

Here is a chance to get behind one of the younger members of this community with help in getting a transplant! I understand this 26 year old has been dealing with kidney disease since she was 9! It is hard to see someone older deal with dialysis, the younger ones who haven't even had a chance yet are the hardest ones to see. I did listen to this program and Ariel impressed me as a young lady who will really shine given the chance - she is already going to school! My daughter seemed to come back to life after her transplant at 18 and was quite the hard-charging student - Ariel impresses me as the same type. Let's see she gets that chance! I already donated. I know most dialysis patients don't have a lot of money, but a few bucks from a lot people can go a long way!

I did wonder about the need for an apartment, but sounds like her home is less than ideal.

Dr. Frank McConnell
, an economist who was with D.C’s federal reserve, speaks about transplants from a price control perspective. Also find out about a country that is handling transplants much better than we are and how they are doing it - I found it quite a surprise!

Marti Oakley may have hit gold with this show, it is a subject just not talked about enough: compensating a living donor for the loss of a major organ. I imagine that is why she is giving this show a 2nd run:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marti-oakley/2019/02/13/ts-radio-network-dialysis-advocates-with-arlene-mullin-5
This week's show talks about dialysis from a psychologist's point of view

The first guest on the following show was Deirdre D. Dickson- Gilbert, a lady who lost her daughter to
C.H.A.R.G.E.
. The experience motivated her to advocate against medical negligence and she became the National Director for the National Medical Malpractice Advocacy Association. The organization has received a lot of congressional, state and local recognition.
Ms. Dickson-Gilbert was followed by Dr. Peter Laird, a physician and dialysis patient who many of you on this board might know. He talked about his experiences with fresenius and also mentioned the very early days of dialysis and how we have gotten to where we are:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marti-oakley/2019/03/06/ts-radio-network-dialysis-advocates-7-with-arlene-mullin
The guests on this show are Za-beth Zills and Karen Brown. These are heart-wrenching accounts of how they lost their relatives while on dialysis. Za-beth Zills lost a brother and Karen Brown lost her son:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marti-oakley/2019/03/13/ts-radio-network-dialysis-advocates-8
Rabbi Arthur Waskow has been an activist since the 60's and relates his experiences. A lot of people might relate to the modern day "pharaohs" he talks about:

Trying to catch up on these shows, but I did listen to the latest show with Chili Most. Mr. Most hosts a radio show in Alabama and has done a lot of work on the behalf of dialysis patients behind the scenes with such organizations as the NAACP.
The first half-hour of the show was a pleasant discussion about music and Mr. Most's involvement in it. The next 15 minutes or so were about how Mr. Most and Arlene Mullin first met and people they found along the way like
Sweet Alice Harris
. The last 45 minutes talked about dialysis, black farmers, and transplants:

Once again, trying to catch up on these shows - this time starting with the most recent. #19 featured Civil Rights activist Kevin McDermott who remembers Dr. Martin Luther King and joined his brother's organization the A.D. King foundation. I consider the civil rights movement a great guide on how to bring about change. A surprise guest was a dialysis nurse who talks about what she has seen. And this show was in time for the Trump news and that is discussed.
