Woo-hoo! (???)

It starts in April, being secondary to Joe's work insurance, but hopefully that will cover everything the primary insurance doesn't.  I'm dreading dealing with Medicare people though.  I temped with the company who handles FL Medicare - they are absolute idiots and a-holes!  They don't give a crap about the members that call.

Premiums are actually more expensive than I thought.  I think Part B is less than 100.00 - maybe around 70?  But Part A is 200.00+.  Good grief that's a lot.

Medicare has two parts:
Part A  Hospital Insurance.  Most people don't have to pay a monthly premium because they (or spouse) paid Medicare taxes while working.

Part B Medical Insurance.  The monthly premium is $88.50 and keeps going up!

If Joe is "still" working, then maybe you don't have to pay the Part A premium??   ???

I'll have to ask about the Part A possibly being free...that would be great.
