Hi all,
So today during dialysis like in the middle of my session my legs fell asleep. I moved my legs to try and get the feeling back but it stayed numb. Even after standing and walking it still was numb. This never happened before and I'm not in pain but the feeling was extremely annoying because I couldnt relax. Does anyone know what this could be

Don't know that it is what caused this, but many of these chairs are completely worn out in the cushions. itting in one position cn cause th legs to go to sleep and can cause cramps. When I first began dialysis, I had a guy who had been doing it for decades tell me it was important to move around a little in the chair, and to learn to distinguish cramps caused by removing too much fluid from those caused by the chairs.

Chairs seemed fine. I read some stuff online. Could be low oxygen, my blood pressure stays low so I'm sure its that.

I have had very high blood pressure and very low blood pressure but no variation ever made any appendage go numb for an extended time!

... or could it be that too much liquid was taken off ? Not enough to get the real cramp-experience, but almost  ... and that made the legs feel numb, just as they "usually" become before a cramp ??
Good luck wishes from Kristina. :grouphug;
