Riki, that is downright cruel!!!
I think it is, yes. My father thinks I'm being overly sensitive. The reason they eat their lunch at the desk is because on the evening shift, there are 3 nurses and one DSW working, and they want to eat together. if they used their break room to eat, they'd have to go one at a time, in order for there to be enough of them on the floor in case of an emergency. My dad thinks that my wanting them to use the break room for their pizza or fast food, whatever they happen to have, and breaking their time up is taking away from their enjoyment, but my thought is, it's their place of employment, not a social club.
I told one of the nurses once that if she ever came in with Wendy's again, she'd better have an extra order of fries for me. She thought I was joking. I was not.
My mother also tells me that my father is one who doesn't seem to mind eating food in front of other people. She tells me that when they were first married and they would come home on weekends to my father's family home, they would pick up a pizza on the way. He would insist on eating it when they got to the house, in front of his younger siblings, without offering them any.
