Last night the little intern/resident walked up to me at dialysis and said: And how are you Mrs. Parker?"  I answered:  "I am not Mrs. Parker. I am Mrs. Soto."
Ooops.

I was setting up my blood collection vials the other night (home hemo).   The procedure is I am given an inventory of vials and receive bar coded labels from the clinic a few days b4 my sample date.

One already had a label for another patient applied.

Recently, I have received several calls from the transplant center wanting to know why I have not had certain tests done in order to receive a kidney. I keep telling them I had the tests done years ago, wait a while and they say "oh yeah, I see it now." Wait a week and the same call. They lost the head of the transplant team a couple years back, and have had other turnover since. Even the nephs are telling people thy should maybe consider being listed elsewhere.
