Generic Renvella has arrived.

Just got my monthly shipment of m. I've heard rumours of a generic but this is the first time I've seen it.  Hope this drives the price down over the next couple of years.edication I ordered from Aetna home pharmacy.  For the first time didn't get Renvella but got sevelamer carbonate 800mg.

That stuff can bankrupt a person real fast ! My husband paid 500 dollars a month with insurance and then 950 in the donut hole, the only time it was affordable was in the catastrophic stage of Medicare part D , and that was only for the last 4 months of the year. My husband refused to take it after spending thousands on it .

I checked. On GoodRx and found renvella and the generic priced the same.  But history has shown when a generic arrives the first couple of years not much of a pice difference but as other companies enter the market prices drop dramatically.

That's awesome.  I used a Renvela coupon to get my scripts for I think it was $15 co pay.  But I know that those coupons are not good for consumers overall and not available to those who aren't on private insurance so any way to get the costs down without the brand name coupons sounds good to me.

Yes, coupons can't be used if you have Medicare . By the way , my Part D Medicare insurance went up 33% for 2018 . They just sent out a notice .

Yikes!  Are you able to shop around for a better deal?  I know with my father-in-law, his insurance broker does the shopping for him.  I give them a list of his medications and he does the price comparisons for us.

my g/F found a Prescript discount card for Renvella...and it cost us about $10.00 per month.
