Store field trip for renal patients

Our state chapter of the National Kidney Foundation has partnered with dietitians from a local grocery store to present information on foods related to a renal diet. Participants will tour the store, have the opportunity to sample foods, and receive a $10 gift card for their next shopping trip.

The event will take place on June 7 in Minnesota. Registration information is on the attached flyer.

If you're not in the area, encourage your state chapter to do something similar. This opportunity came about from the suggestions of area ESRD patients.

Qwap! Way too far for me to drive from mid-Missouri. But I sure would like to!

This is a great idea! I would LOVE to see this happen in ALL areas!

I have the email address of my clinic dietician. I will have to go find her card and forward this thread to her. See if this gives her any ideas. Hope, Hope.
