Mark your calendar for this Thursday, March 9. Talk to others about the importance of their kidneys. Most people don't appreciate them. It is also a good time to put in a plug for transplants.

Also, check with your local chapter of the National Kidney Foundation to see if you can volunteer in some way. Our chapter is stationing people downtown to hand out an NKF Branded Measuring Spoon, a NKF Recipe Card, and information about sodium intake.
