i have a question
is anyone on warfarin
i had appt last tues and my inr
was high so they had me do some lab
to see what there level was at and it was at 4.9
so on wed went to dialyis and they check my inr
and it was 4.2 on fri it was check
but the cumadain nurse from the doc office
never called me to tell me what dose
to take
so i called dialyis about inr and it was 1.9
that is to low so i called the doc on call
and he gave me a dose to take
and come into the lab this morning
to get it check
well i called the doc a few hours later
but he didnt tell me what  my inr was
but he gave me the does to take for the
weekend and of course call monday morning
which dialtis will be checking
my level again
in the mean time
do you think i should drink
a wine cooler to raise my  inr up
or not
and drink a v8 juice
what do you  think

I would think that the dose prescribed should do the trick. I'm not on Warfarin , so I don't know of the effect on your bloods of wine or v8 juice. If I'm afraid to have caused a bloodclot, I always drink some Cointreau (37%) which I think widens the arteries a bit. Don't know if that helps, but makes me feel better anyways.

a diet sprite with a mix of tequlea
