If he is a good doctor you dont have to worry. The old time doctors could see and feel things using thier eyes and ears and hands . They didnt need tests for everything. A skilled surgeon can tell a lot by looking. I have been doing medicine and surgery for 26 years and dont order a lot of tests as I can tell a lot by touching and looking . so if he is good and took the time to look carefully, there is nothing to worry about. Tests can sometimes be deceiving anyway. I trust a good doctors instinct.

Concerned? It's possible that it's something an experienced doctor can recognize without tests. It's also possible tests could make you hurt worse.
I think you should consider calling your local ESRD network. Something is wrong at your clinic.

I get that when they do angioplasty (balloon open the vein) on my fistula or the veins around the fistula. Mine doesn't hurt, its just discolored, I think from the dye that they use.

this was from them attempting to use the graft for treatment, the machine didnt say there was anything wrong, so they kept arguing with me, id say it hurts, theyd stop the machine, fiddle with the needles, and start it, repeatedly until i was bawling and begging to go home...
"theres nothing wrong with it" is all i keep hearing, yet the bruising continues to worsen...

They are sticking the needle in the wrong place. It's not going into the vessel. The machine cannot determine if the needle is in the right place. If you can, see if someone know how to stick the needle in the vessel. That happened to me and I told my nurse to take the needle out right away and use another spot when I was getting my buttonholes. I agree with your doctor, they don't know what the heck they are doing. Sorry this is happening to you.

Dailysis patient for since 1999 and still kicking it strong. I was called for a transplant but could not get it due to damage veins from extremely high blood pressure. Have it under control now, on NxStage System but will receive dailysis for the rest of my life. Does life sucks because of this. ABOLUTELY NOT! Life is what you make it good, bad, sick, or healthy. Praise God I'm still functioning as a normal person just have to take extra steps.

It looksw like they are infiltrating and seeping blood into the surrounding tissue. They need to improve their technique.

HLM I'm so sorry you are in such a ridiculous situation there. They've definitely infiltrated you. Is it getting worse?
Is it really not poss to start needling youself? And maybe try to follow some of Iolaire's, and cdwbrooklyn's suggestions?
Lots of luck, my darling, and love, Cas

Bruising always looks worse before it gets better. The color changes are awesome or gross depending on your perspective. The pain should be getting better.
