Has anyone ever had this problem??
I go in, and weigh, then of course have my treatment, and weigh before leaving... standard proceedure ive been doing since 2007...
well, so now im at this clinic, and it seems like every single treatment they are taking 1 kilo more than they should be...
To explain, my dw was 110, i was going out in the 109s, sometimes 109.8, 109.5, and even 109.1...
today the doc changed my dw to 109, and today i went out at 108.1, i told the nurse who argued with me, saying i MUST have been wearing my coat, (i was not) so i weighed with it, still 108.7....

this clinic has been a bit of a nightmare, which is no surprise, as this clinic is the same clinic i went to when i started, and the same clinic that i quit going to, expecting death, but found another clinic that changed my mind about dialysis...

The nurse and techs do not listen at all, they act like ive never done dialysis, and dont believe me that i know my own body. and the doctor seems to be the same way too... i told him today i think my dw needs changed, so he asks me what i think it needs changed too... i have no idea, soi tell him that, and he said well you have to tell me, i said im not a dr but maybe try taking an extra kilo each treatment until i feel like its right? im no doctor so how could i possibly know how much exactly i have on??? i just know how i feel, and ive only been telling them for an entire month, not being able to breathe the whole time....an ER dr tells me i have congestrive heart failure and i told the neph that, and he said "But do you really??" uhhh no, the er dr LIES?!?! really???? so i shrug... and he tells me its because i smoke... even though i barely smoke, especially right now. im not stupid, i cant breathe, im not going to smoke...

im so confused by this... and quite angry too.
to which my dr says its because i smoke...

Have you tried calculating your wait and asking the techs to verify what they put in the machine.  That's the only way to be sure that you don't end up crapping.

Can you also ask for a different dialysis doc??  At my old client we had a couple that rotated, so I would just wait until the smart one came around.

Crapping during dialysis could be a problem :)

He is the head dr at my clinic, so im not sure if i could ask someone else. and i certainly dont want to irk him.

crapping onj the machine would be terrible for everyone lol some  guy did that a few mos ago, and we all suffered during his 4 hrs there...

Gotta love medical "professionals" that don't really know much about what they are doing! So glad I do home hemo now! I used to tell them at the clinic how much I wanted off and that's what they pulled! I had a great clinic, I just hated having my life revolve around my D schedule!
Hope you can get it straightened out soon!   :cuddle;

Check the math and your set goal. Ask what the prime is (how much saline is used before the blood goes through the extracorporeal circuit and back into you, and how much is used to bring your blood back). I go to a self-care clinic now so I am in charge of my own goal numbers, but I have dealt with total dummies that can't do basic arithmetic when calculating the goal. As annoying as it is, it's in your best interest to check the goal on the machine.

Also alternatively, you may "pull" really well. I pull quite well (as long as I have not consumed too much sodium and my albumin levels are good to high), which basically means that the machine will pull a little more fluid off than the actual goal that is set. I don't have any scientific evidence for this, just anecdotal, but physiologically (with respect to the sodium and albumin) it makes sense.
