Hello and Hi to all. I am brand new to this site. I am not a patient, but a tech at a major dialysis company. I would first like to say thank you to the people who are responsible for this wonderful site. When you first start dialysis, they bombard you with so much information that it is easy to see one getting lost. Hell, i work for the company and get lost with how fast they move. It is awesome that people can come here and express questions, feelings, and fears without anyone questioning it or making them feel silly. I have been reading many posts and i do realize that i have not spotted many dialysis workers floating around, so i dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. I would like to say, i am very happy to give anyone any information that I can, but I am here because I want to see what patients actually feel like. As a tech, my job is to give treatments, assist patients with whatever it is i can help them with, and be a good listener. I know that sounds silly, but I have found that many of my patients just like to have someone to talk to. That being said, I can ask many questions and get few honest answers from my patients. I really want to know what we, as techs, can do better for you. I thank you for listening to my rambling, and I am looking forward to talking to some of you
thanks in advance, Ben ccht 3 yrs
