Hey!!  I used to hang around here.  What else can you do connected to all of those tubes, just hang.  Well, one day I saw my chance; Igor let his strangle-hold go slack and I slipped out the door, escaped, kept running, went to a coffee shop and admired my 2/3rds fistula scar - I said it was a war wound and got a medal for it.  And you can count on me to be truthful.  I should go into politics.  Hey, if the Teabaggers can do legitimate rape I'll do part-time dialysis; you know, come in this week and take the next week off.

Gotta go!  They're chasing me. Yaaaahhhhoooo! I think its a Nephrologist with a great big needle.  Hubba hubba - - later.

I dug deep into my closet and found my guitar, a quality Telecaster, and I am trying to learn how to play that infernal machine.  Listen, I can play while rocking you to sleep and I promise to stay away from my vast collection of off color songs.  You need some TLC.

What's this I'm hearing? A blast from the past! Good to hear your charming wit again Gerald. I was just thinking about you the other day. Wondering what you were up to and wishing for the best. Stop by more often.

Oh, PLEEEEZE don't stay away from the off-color songs! Don't you know that laughter is the BEST medicine? One of my strategies this year has been to seek out things that make me laugh.

 :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

I'm actually going to go into three weeks of hyperbaric oxygen treatment starting next Thursday. I'll be taking 2 "dives" a day at 2.8 atmospheric pressures while breathing 100% oxygen for 90 minutes. I am hoping this will kill off the Lyme and other co-infections and allow me to lose the PICC line for good. Doing IV treatments 7 days a week is not as bad as dialysis, but it still sucks. Right now I'm on 3 oral antibiotics and one IV antibiotic. Can you imagine what it has done to my gut????

 :puke;  (Well, actually, it is more the other end that is affected!)  :rofl; :rofl;

Keep me laughing, Gerald!  :2thumbsup;
