I'm so sorry that it's all come down on you at once, Kitkatz. Of course losing Bajanne was devastating and is only going to make everything else seem that much bleaker.

I so hope things get easier as you begin the long grieving process while also trudging through the usual dialysis challenges. Glad you got a bit of a break! Keep up the healing.  :cuddle;

I just heard about your surgery. I will be praying for you that you heal up real fast. Yeah, it's rough to have all this going on at once, but there are a lot of loving people in your corner./

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

1983 high proteinloss in urine, chemo, stroke,coma, dialysis
1984 double nephrectomy
1985 transplant from dad
1998 lost dads kidney, start PD
2003 peritineum burst, back to hemo
2012 start Nxstage home hemo
2020 start Gambro AK96

       still on waitinglist, still ok I think

Hi Kit

I'm so sorry you're hurting. Kaiser isn't real generous with pain meds, are they? Especially lately. I think 32 stitches calls for something a little more effective than Tylenol.

You've been through so much @#%&, but soon it will all be just a fading memory. Hang in there!

The staples are out as of yesterday morning.  It took them 3 hours to do it.  I was an add on so wound nurse was running late.  Doctor wanted it seen by her, why? I do not know.  I have steri- strip up the arm and a bandaid.  Not to get it wet.  Do not come ver, I wills  ink by next week.  I am feeling better.  Went in to work foran hour after w\school and pulled gradebook and papers to grade.

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
