Glad things are looking up for you!!  :2thumbsup; Did they have to do the OKT3? I had that when my first tx rejected. Horrible, horrible stuff. Made me the sickest I've ever been (even temporary blindness) but it worked like a charm. I'm wishing the best for you and your tough little kidney!!

After 10 PE and IVIG my creatinine level is stable at 2.4 (BUN is almost normal). I'm not satisfied with the current level, but doctors keep telling me that creatinine will drop slowly in the future. My Tx is a rollercoaster. I can hardly wait to go home in start riding my bike.  :bow;
Lexxtech - no, I didn't get OKT3, I got ATG. Also very strong medicine. I got fever and headache.

What do you think about my creatinine level?

Your creatinine level isn't perfect but it's not that bad. Lots of people out there have that level, many don't even know it. If you feel ok and your docs aren't upset, don't worry too much. You already try to stay healthy. Just keep doing that.

yes mine took a few months to get down to the1.4-1.5 level it is at now. give it time. Every day off D is a bonus right? Try to not be impatient with it.. hopefully it will get under 2 and all will be good :)

I had my first checkup yesterday. Creatinine went a little bit down: 2.3 and Hb is normal so I won't need EPO shots.  Yupppiiiiiii  :clap;
