NEW TOPIC! and hopefully some good advice! I currently live in Perth W.A, I have been on Dia for years now. My Little brother is having a massive wedding in the new year, and of course I would love to attend and be his best man. Problem is, it's all the way in Cebu, Philippines. Trying to plan a trip this big is crazy, I wouldn't even know where to start.

Question! Has anyone done the vacation thing on dialysis? and has anyone ever travelled to Asia on dialysis. and for how long too. its surprisingly hard to plan it actually. But Yeah, if anyone is reading this and has done something similar, any advice would be appreciated. Ive managed to get my medication down to just taking caltrate now, no others needed. So I thought this woud be the perfect time to do something like this. After 4 years of Dia, I think I deserve it. lol doesnt everyone? Anyways, thanks for reading, and hope you have some opinions. Good and Bad ones are welcome.!!!look forward to some replies!! :pray;

This looks to be very doable. Global Dialysis lists 20 units in the Cebu area, the first provider I looked at has a central booking agency in Singapore and you can contact them via Email : enquiries@asiarenalcare.com

I've dialyzed in Singapore but never the Philippines (I also dialyzed in Perth in 1999 - I was coming from South Africa, on my way to Sydney), be sure to check out the IHD Travel Board to read the trip reports from the many people who have traveled while using dialysis.
