Life is great!

« on: December 23, 2012, 05:37:35 PM »

Hey everyone....it has been a very long time.  Just checking in to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year.

Everything in my life is as hectic as ever.  Been on dialysis four years now and still not interested in having a transplant.  Dialysis works well for me so I am just happy to stick with something that ain't broke.  Still able to work 16 hour days and I have just launched two new magazines so it is all go, go, go.  In fact, I don't think I have ever felt better...touch wood.

It is nice to see you are all well...or as well as can be expected and I hope all of you who are hoping for a transplant next year get one.

Always sad to read about the losses over the past year.  That said, the majority of you are still here to tell your story and that's what really matters.

Love to you all and all the best for 2013.  You are always in my thoughts.  Cindy. xxx :flower;

Dailysis patient for since 1999 and still kicking it strong.  I was called for a transplant but could not get it due to damage veins from extremely high blood pressure.  Have it under control now, on NxStage System but will receive dailysis for the rest of my life.  Does life sucks because of this.  ABOLUTELY NOT!  Life is what you make it good, bad, sick, or healthy.  Praise God I'm still functioning as a normal person just have to take extra steps.
