I am posting this here for now, will move it to the tribute section but wanted to be sure her friends see it.
I received a response to a birthday greeting sent to IHD member MiSSis. It was from her husband Dan. He shared her story:
Michelle and I vacationed in Fla. the fall of 2010. She came down with Paratinnitis and Pancreatitis, she spent a total of 6 months in the Naples Fla. Hospitals. During this time she lost the ability to walk, after some physical therapy we got her back on her feet. The doctors removed her PD catheter early on so when she got out we took a course on home hemo dyalysis, she also developed bumps and lesions on her torso. The doctor there said it was calcium deposits and they will reabsorb. We finally got home late april 2011 on home hemo. We went to Iowa City hospitals about the bumps and lesions. They said it was Calsiphylaxix, She died of this a month later June 12 2011. I loved her dearly and miss her every day! Dan

I'm so sorry to hear that Michelle passed away. She fought kidney disease for a long time. I'm sorry Dan. May she rest in peace without having to deal with dialysis.
With Sympathy,
