So I have a phone interview on Wednesday and I was told that I can get a disability check under my dad's SS. When my dad passed away in '04, I got a survivors benefit check for 3 years and the lady I talked to said something about getting back pay from when benefits stopped, which means I'd be getting back pay for 5 years o.O But anyway, so I just wanted to share my news, and that hopefully I'll be getting my Medicare coverage soon and I'll be able to be status 1(I think) on the transplant list. :)

Just a little update. I finally got my Medicare card in the mail over the weekend. All I have to do now is get the clinic to fax the papers and whatnot to the transplant hospital and then my name will become active on the list. :D
