Anyone using generic Renvela?

I see something called Acutrol-C offered, and I am wondering if it's working for users as well as Renvela.

Are you in the US? Find out if it is rated AB equivalent by the FDA. If it is, then it should still work fine. Only problem is sometimes the generic companies don't use quite as good a coating and it might be a little harder on your stomach if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. I'm not sure if Renvela works in your stomach or if it waits til the intestines to dissolve. It's probably ok. Are you just looking into it or does your doctor recommend it?

I am an American in the Philippines.

I was just wondering about alternatives, since the generic is much cheaper.

I may just have to try some and see how my lab results are
