http://www.sportline.com/products/hydration-2/hydracoach.html

I tracked this down after seeing it on pinterest.  It's called the Hydracoach Intelligent Water Bottle.  It's got a digital monitor to track how much you are drinking.  It's only about $30.   I think it could be good for both D patients and transplant patients, but not sure if it's programmable for the smaller amounts for those on limitations.  Gotta say I'm tempted for busy days now that I've had my transplant.  It's really easy to get busy and lose track of how much I've had to drink.

Has anyone tried one?  Pre or Post transplant? Is it worth the cash?

not tried it but looks interesting.  I've also been contemplating a Frio insulin case for carrying epogen when traveling.  anyone use one of those?

I have used the Frio for several years as a diabetic and have found that they work very well, especially if you are away from electric and just have availability of water.  It only takes a short soak and it is ready to go.  I have never had a problem with insulin going bad and I live in Florida and am out in the sun quite often.

As for the HydraCoach, it looks like it would be a good product and can be had @ Amazon.com for about 20 bucks + shipping.  It has received primarily good reviews.
