Hi all,
Well my fistulagram was a success, but I had a minor complication, during the clot busting process, the angiojet gave me a migrane, my bp soared and my palse went down to 30 when they gave me a bp med called well not sure what it was called cardio something, and I had to be put on a non rebreather, well they decided to admit me for a while to see if everything would stablize, well it did so instead of keeping me like orriginally planned they sent me home, well last night the migrane came back so I went to the er today, they did a catscann to see if the clott busting thingy made my brain bleed, well they found no bleeding on the brain so they sent me home with pain meds and said to followup with my dr. It's worse when I stand. I tell you what I am not letting them use angiojet ever again, I know they don't like to do thrombectomies much anymore because of the risks but I don't care I'm not going through hell like that ever again. Now I'm on rest for 7 days or until it's completely gone, what a time! Besides that the procedure was a success and they also ended up replacing my cover stent with a new one, and better news he found a vein to do a regular fistula! However he doesn't want to do it until the graft fails again, but I want one now!

Oh, Sullidog!  :grouphug;

You have had one hell of a time. The migraine sounds bloody awful.  :cuddle;

I'm glad they got your fistula working, though.

I hope this ALL gets straightened out soon. No wonder you have had enough.  :grouphug;
