Ok, I need to know the names of cerial that renal patients should avoid, I'm tired of the dietitions and the internet just saying brands, I want names of actual names of cerial we should be avoiding, like cherios, corn flakes, I just want names not brands. Brands seems to be too broad of a topic.

Puffed rice like Rice Krispies or Rice cereal like Rice Chex  have the lowest Potassium and Phosphorous count.   Look on NutritionData.com for stuff like that.

You want to avoid whole-grain cereals, for the same reason that you avoid whole-grain bread.  Corn flakes, rice kris pies and puffed rice are all fine, although not very interesting.  As MooseMom pointed out, Raisin Bran is the worst--a double whammy of dried fruit and whole grain!
