Dialysis customers and dairy cows

Has anyone ever considered the similarities between dialysis customers and dairy cows?  Cows bawl when they are hungry.  They also bawl when they need milked.

Three times a week I get hooked up to the milking machine at the center and my insurance gets milked for all the money the system can stand.

Yes I know that many customers feel better with more dialysis, but so do dairy cows.  Not being milked on a regular basis is painful for cows.  Same for dialysis customers?

What do you think happens to the cows when the milk stops?  Think about it!

Although really, when they get D centers to run like automatic milking machines, we'll all probably be better off.  The local paper just did a big article about the new automated systems.  When ever the cow feels like it wants to be milked, it walks up to the machine.  It automatically recognizes the cow by its id tag, adjusts the machine to the proper settings, starts, cleans and sterilizes, hooks ups, milks and releases the cow within minutes.  The cows can go whenever they want, and as often as they want.  Some go twice a day, some up to 6 times.

That would be nice to go whenever we wanted.  I'm sure some would go more than others.  Great Idea!

Wouldn't that be great?  Ooops, I drank too much fluid yesterday, I think I'll go for an hour and get some of it off now. Or maybe -  Nah, I'm busy, I'll go at midnight and have a snooze then instead of doing it right after work.  A walk-in, 24/7 clinic.  Ah, someday.....

Man they sure have come a long way since I milked cows as a kid in the 60's

Yes, it would be nice if you could go more often.  Then again, it'd be even nicer if we didn't have to go at all.

Yeah.. I prefer to not go at all, but to go when it was more convenient for me would be great.  I'd probably go in the middle of the night, to free up my days
