Thanks!  I don't really feel fearless, I just knew that I couldn't take any more trips to the dialysis center.  Even though it's literally 5 minutes away from my house, it was just sucking the life out of me in many different ways.  I know that I never had labs that good in the center.

To continue the saga from Friday night, yesterday I stuck myself perfectly and my treatment completed without a hitch.  I had to take off 2 kilos because I hadn't dialyzed since Tuesday, but even with that, I didn't feel bad at all after treatment and went out to dinner afterwards.

I am so excited to get my catheter out on Monday - that Tuesday morning shower will be heavenly!!!!!    :yahoo;

Good for you!  I look forward to taking a full shower near the first of the year.  It's never fun getting poked, but it's more than worth it to get rid of this chest catheter.   Next summer I hope to be able to hit the surf again.

Congrats to both.  I'm looking forward to getting my cath out too.  It's certainly a big motivation for pushing through the needling.
Thanks again.

Healthy people may look upon me as weak because of my illness, but my illness has given me strength that they can't begin to imagine.

Always look on the bright side of life...
