At my new center they only do labs once a month, the only lab they do through out the month is hemoglobin, the rest comes once a month unless something is hi, my former center did monthlys as well as mid monthlys, why are some centers different? I'd figure every center would have a monthly and a mid monthly.

I only get monthly labs and extra hemoglobin levels. Never had mid-month labs.

In four different centers, PD and hemo, I've only ever had monthly labs and one small lab (probably hemoglobin, on occasion also potassium) a week or two after.

Doing Nxstage at home, and they require labs every month.  Then we do same monthly labs but with extra draw for Quarterlys, then an even more tubes for Semi Annual Blood draw.  But all reguire a monthly draw.

If you do Epo and you are put on hold for it, they will ask you to check every 2 weeks, to keep it in check!

My dialysis centre does monthly labs and only mid monthly if they need to follow up on something like hemoglobin or potassium.

I also get montly anti body screening for transplant and yearly Hepatitis and HIV screening.

I also get yearly baseline testing.. not sure what that is but I got it last month.  i was too tired to asked.. Just wanted to get hooked up and nap.  I was working over time that week so I was on a serious lack of sleep.
