My dad about 2 years ago was on Cellcept/steroids for protein leak in the kidneys?...or something like that. he was doing good for a while. He told me today his creatine is 9.2? Doesn't that sound off? i thought normal value was up to 1.2 with that. No swelling fluid etc.. he says. he is dizzy from time to time and is having his cartroid artery checked. he was blocked a few years ago. I have to wonder if it's the kidneys. Any insight would be helpful since I'm not up to date on all the normal ranges for bloodwork. Thanks!

Creatiinine 9.2 is extremely high.  What did his doctor say when he saw that?

My dad is out of state so I was not with him at the visit. I am trying to find out his other numbers  BUN etc..  I hope so much that he does not have to go on dialysis natrually.  I would have to assume him BUN would be off also. he said he feels good but we know that does not always mean that the kidneys are not failing. I also want to double check that the 9.2 number is accurate. Sometimes he gets things mixed up. I'lllet you know. I think he goes to his kidney doc this wed.

thank goodness his numbers according to the kidney doc's bloodwork are good. We don't know what his primary was talking about  lol. So, after his Neph visit, all is ok..
