I swear, when are we getting a duck icon?

kremizin - I think far too many of these things are just snake oil.

okarol...Streptococcus Thermophilus is considered non pathogenic and is being used in the production of mozzarella cheese.

jbeany...i hope kibow is not one of them.

kremizin and kibow are far more expensive than having the dialysis but as long as there are possible ways to delay D, we'll give it a try....we dont want to see our mother sitting on that chair...not now. :pray;

This is beginning to sound like an infomercial. I really appreciate people sharing their experience when they have actually tried the products. Maybe I am too pessimistic, but if you have not discussed these alternative treatments with your mother's doctor, I hope you do.

if you're thinking that I am somewhat connected to these 2 products...you're wrong.   :(

actually it was the neph who gave us the name of this supplement but leave it all up to us on where to get it since it is not locally distributed here in the Philippines.  my mother started taking this for a week now...she'll have another lab test after a month...i'll keep you posted.

sorry if I sounded like I am promoting this supplement...I started this thread thinking that it came from the US so someone here might have tried it.

sorry...we're desperate. :'(

No, please, come back and tell us what your mom's test results were, and if the supplements were the only thing she was doing differently.  I'm always super-paranoid about anything that claims to be a health supplement, since kidneys that don't function well clear them from the system at unusual rates.  They usually make some claim about being good for you as well at completely natural.  "Natural" does not mean healthy.  Uranium and rattlesnake venom are "natural."  Doesn't mean I want 'em in my system!

Kremizin, please let us know how it goes.  I know this is not a cure but if it helps your mom feel well and delay dialysis, then it's a temporary cure and that's something to be hopeful for.  I know I'm hoping it'll work for her.  I know that Kremezin isn't used here in the U.S. yet but it has recently completed a large, multi-national study, including sites here in the U.S..  I'm really looking forward to seeing those results.

Looking forward to hearing back from you, Kremezin.
