I just got my first prescription of Renvela - for seven 800 mg tablets per day, 90 day prescription, it was $335 at CVS.  We have to pay 25% of retail for brand-name drugs.  I had a discount card that I received from my SW that took $150 off that cost - definitely ask your SW to get one for you.

Luckily for me, my calcium went back down with my June labs (and stayed down in July) so I am allowed to go back on my generic PhosLo.  I've kept the Renvela around though, just in case I have to go back on it if my calcium goes back up.

Thanks, that helps a bit. Sounds no pricier than Renagel.

I have medicare part D and a 3 months 90 tablets would be 47.00.  Retail CVS would be 18.90 per month.

Different Insurance will lead you to a different  price and they can vary greatly....

OH MY GOODNESS!  I can't believe the costs.  I take Renagel (similar to Renavella), and I pay 1.10 for a 30 day supply.  I have Medicare and live in Indiana... I count myself sooo lucky that I have this insurance as I am not working and taking care of my 8 month old!
