As you now from my other posts my husband who is on APD  has been quite  poorly these last five months, heart attack, legs not working, losing lots of weight, poor appetite, I could go on and on. Three weeks ago we seemed to be turning a corner, his legs started working again, (stopping the statin helped) I bet his cardiologist would not agree, he has been doing resistance exercises to build his muscles up and he seemed to be getting his life back and then BANG this morning he has lots of red blood and bits floating in his urine, so here we go again..the thing is he does not pee much at all, like a spoonful every day, what is this, how long has he had it. I had to take the sample to the GP, goodness knows how long they will be before they let us know.Any ideas.

Billybags, hubby doesn't pee at all and he had blood every now and then for years. Doctors had no idea what caused it.  Last fall he had a cystoscopy (light put in his bladder) .  They found a polyp and removed it in Jan. He has not had any blood since.

results came back to-day and they said there was no growth on it but they need  another sample next week. I had to laugh because getting him to pee is like squeezing a stone. He will have to start dribbling Monday so I can take it in on Thursday. The nurse was stunned when I told her.
