You may want to look in the "new stories" section - but as far as I can tell there isn't anything ready for human trials - maybe not for 5 years. They seem to have been talking about it forever - here's one article http://cchealth.clevelandclinic.org/horizon/beyond-dialysis - sorry, I wish there was better news.  :(

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
