Hi everyone,
My transplant went great! I got to go home 4 days after and then exactly 2 weeks after transplant I was back in the hospital my creatine jumped today is 3 weeks post transplant I am doing ok been in a lot of pain still and tired I get my PD cath out Friday the 13th! Ready for this I was born Dec. 13th surgery was April 13th I was in bed 13 and my room number in ICU was 7013 and now my cath gets taken out on the 13th. The nurse told me to keep talking to my kidney asking it to be apart of me and keep me well so I have taken her advice and I'm just taking this day by day. I hope all of you are doing great you are all always in my thoughts and prayers. :flower;

  :2thumbsup; Welcome to the "other side" - it's good to hear you are doing well.  Has your creatinine settled yet?  Which immunosuppressant meds are you taking?

That's fantastic news!

I'm sure the creatinine jump is just a temporary glitch.  Happened to me in the hospital even before I was discharged.

They're right, talking to your kidney can definitely help.

When I had a bump in my creatinine, I looked right at my incision and I told my kidney transplant this:

"Listen, you S.O.B.:  You screw me over and I swear to God, I'll cook you and eat you for dinner!"

Must have worked--my creatinine went back down to 1.0.    :-)

Well I wend to see my surgeon today and I have to get a kidney biopsy Wed they think I may be rejecting I am having a good amount of pain and my creatine isn't getting better. If they see I am rejecting they will put me in the hospital and pump me full of stronger meds they are confident they can stop it from fully rejecting it I will let you all know how it goes please keep me in your prayers.
