Just when then are going about as good as they can, BAM!!!!!

A Broken Tooth.  Minding my own business, eating dinner Saturday night, a nice, healthy salad, i crunch into one of the [3] croutons on my salad and BAM, it broke a tooth, right in half all the way to the root!  Half the tooth came out, exposing the nerves!!!!!!

I about went through the roof with some of the worst pain I've ever experienced!  Now, my jaw is so swollen, it looks as if i have a softball in my mouth :stressed;.  I can't eat, can't hardly talk, and the pain is excruciating!!!!  I went to the dentist, only to get charged $84.00 for him to tell me I had a broken tooth, and get a script for some antibiotics.  The bright side is, it will only be about $1,400.00 for a root canal and crown!

Anyway, HAVE A NICE DAY!   :sarcasm;

So sorry! I had a broken tooth and root canal last year. Not fun but had to be done. Writing the check actually hurts worse than the procedure. ::)

OHMYGOSH!  I feel so sorry for you!  I was feeling the same way.  Things were going along pretty well and BAM, my crown fell off.  It had been on there for 8 years.  Then, the "new" dentist in the office tells me it has two holes in it, but she thinks she can reset it and fill it with cavity filling stuff.  Cost: $80.00.  I saw her one week later and she said, your tooth is now exposed.  As soon as you start feeling pain, we'll have to get you a new crown.  Why didn't she do that the first time????  UGH  I'm sorry you are having to deal with it.  We don't really need anything else to deal with.

Hang in there!!  :cuddle;

Ouch!! Yeah I had that happen to me but thankfully it didn't crack down to the root. I had to get the crown...paying that bill was painful.

Oh Ouch. I feel for you as I have had more than my share of teeth problems in my life. Now, its dentures, and they are wonderful, no more dental pain ever. Wow, ONLY $1400.00 to get it fixed. These people must be crazy.    :cuddle; :cuddle;
