I hope your husband recovers well and remember at any small thing like that to get it checked out.  When I was 35 years old, I had my first heart attack.  I didn't experience really any signs but just chest pain.  I had stents put in and I had another heart attack in 2008 at Christmas time. I don't like going to the hospital via ambulance and I was dead asleep and Jennifer was watching tv.  I awoke sudden saying call 911.  I knew I was having another heart attack.  They sent me to ECMC in Buffalo, an hour and half away.  They doctors there weren't sure what they wanted to do to me.  After 2 weeks, they sent me home.  A few days later, I had another heart attack.  A doctor at ECMC finally said he'd take my case and they did a quad bypass.  It was hard to recover and I will never go through that again. That was the worst pain and recovery I ever had.  The doctors knew I needed it, but none wanted to take my case because of all my health problems due to my diabetes.  It's not easy.

Where are you at?? i am 1 hour south of ecmc....

Here we go again, hubby has not been well since he came out of the heart unit last Monday, aches ,pains, breathlessness, feeling sick you name it he has it.Thursday renal nurse came out to take bloods, thank goodness and found out he is anemic his iron had dropped from 19 (UK) to 4 I am surprised he is still walking about bless him, so I am sitting here waiting for a call to take him in for transfusion. No wonder he is feeling rough, we thought it was the new beta blocker.

aww gee, I feel bad that this has come about. Hopefully the transfusion will help. Billy, it just always seems like it's something doesn't it? Not only for you but for your husband as well. Do you know why he has become anemic? Has he ever been so low he's needed a transfusion before? The kidney failure? From the suregry? I "think" I kinda know he sorta feels with the anemia & feeling so fatigued/exhausted. I once was on a medication that did that to me. The shortness of breath was the worst. You feel like you just don't want to move. Urgghh.. Scrolling it says now that his numbers are ok & going to see Neph. He's lucky to have you!
