Is anyone familiar with or does your unit use safety clips? It is rumored to be a clip that goes on the venous line to secure the tubing set to venous port of the catheter or access so that the two cannot separate.

Yes its true. They use the safety clips all the time in my dialysis unit. Now, please tell me that you have done the fistula surgery!

I'd have to see a picture to know for sure.. I know that once they are connected, there is a thing that screws on. I've never seen those come apart
