In da House.

« on: July 06, 2010, 03:29:15 PM »

Now not a subject i want to dwell on because its not very nice, but its so weird i had to post.
Regardless of what people do to me , apart from a good rant i would NEVER wish anyone any harm , but today at dialysis i got the most shocking news. One of the senior nurses that has been really horrible to me is away on holiday and ..she has broke her back. No one knows how bad things are , but despite how nasty she was to me , i think its quite sad. On the typical side though , she is still kicking up a stink and refuses to let them operate on her till shes in a british hospital ! she is only in spain and not some 3rd world country.

No, I don't believe in Kharma. Sure is interesting about your nurse, though.

I believe in kharma, not that I believe bad things should happen to people but I do believe people have it coming, if that makes any sense.

I do feel what goes around, comes around - which is another form of kharma I guess. Certainly it is one reason I try to behave in a positive and friendly way in medical situations.....

.. but I do agree - I would not wish anything bad on anyone, but when stuff like that does happen to those that in some way might deserve a bit of a "leveller" in life, it does seem that there's a mystical force out there working.. of course there are others who always seem to get the easy breaks no matter what - so who knows?!!  :rofl;

Sort of OT to this, but related - on another message board I am on (a football related one) comment was being passed about an imfamous player down here who has been involved in a lot of off-field contraversy(drugs) and the latest setback. Anyway some media were getting stuck into him, and someone on the board posted "I hope they have to suffer a illness like that and be rushed to ICU so they know what it's like!" and I just read that and was quite upset. I know what they meant, but geez.. you wouldn't wish that kind of thing on anyone.

*ouch*

How terrible ... a broken back isn't nice however vile a person is.

I'm not sure that I do believe in karma.  I think that if I did I would have to assume that Blokey had been a truly horrid person in a previous life because he's loving, kind, generous and lots of other nice things all squished up, and I shouldn't have to be watching him suffer ...

Fate, though ... that I DO believe in.

 ;D

Well that shows great faith in the NHS. Kristina would be mortified.  :rofl;
I shouldn't be laughing at this, should I?

There's an Irish saying that goes "It's a long road that doesn't have a turn!... I've always believed that life has a nasty habit of biting you on the bum at some stage if you don't treat people with curtesy...

Hope you and the hounds are well.....

I'm a true believer in what goes around comes around and do unto others as you would have them do onto you.... or however that saying goes.. *L*  Obviously, I'm not religious.. but I do think that those who are crappy to others for the sake of being crappy, or because they find it fun, will get theirs eventually..

Carson, people like you are put on the earth to show everyone else grace under great adversity
