For any who do not like me I use - prayer.

« on: May 13, 2008, 01:23:46 PM »

Well just as I am getting over one rough spot, another one comes along.  :puke;
I went to my vascular surgeon yesterday and he agreed that the fistula, for dialysis, is not maturing.  So on the 23rd, I'm
to go back for another angio fistulargram to see what is going on.  He will be looking for any scaring in the veins.
If he finds it there is no way I can have a fistula, I will have to go with a graft.  He said yesterday he was afraid there
no fistulas for me. :Kit n Stik; I dread it because the last one left me black from the elbow to the shoulder and
hurt like hell, during  and after. Please, everyone who believes in God, say a prayer for me.
 :thx; Mimi

Mimi, I'm so sorry.  :grouphug; I'll keep praying and thinking about you. Len had 2 fistula surgeries that didn't take and he got a graft in his upper arm. Same as you, bruised from his shoulder to his elbow. I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Take care and keep us posted.  :cuddle;

Yes I did, but all that developed was the veins at my wrist got larger.  That was no help because I was told from the
beginning those veins were too small.

Thanks, Kit, I might take you up on that.  :Kit n Stik;

Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers.

Love, Mimi
