Blue Ridge Mountain Sugar Cookies

I shared this recipe with okarol and thought someone else might be interested too.Sorry didn't post this sooner.



2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Butter
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Milk
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Nutmeg
2 1/2 to 3 Cups Flour

Preheat oven to 400'F.
Cream sugar and butter, add remaining ingredients.Starting with 2 1/2 cups flour,adding more to creating dough stiff enough to roll out.Roll out on well floured cloth or board.Cut out with coffee can ( whatever size desired ).Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 400'F about 8 minutes.May sprinkle with sugar if desired.ENJOY!!
