oh no, perfect example.  I'd typed several sentences and hit backspace by accident and got Beer.  Zach, stop typing over my shoulder.   Enough with the beer.

Here is my question:  I type and make an error.  If I backspace it erases my entire message.  Is it my computer, my keyboard or does anybody else have that issue and/or what am I doing wrong.  It just happened here and I'm  having to type all over and my memory "ain't" that good.

Basically what I do most of the time is to type in Word and copy paste.  Seems kind of like my processor is too fast for my keyboard???? I know Chris reads all this stuff.  lol   Or anybody who has a suggestion.

The one way I replicated it was when my pointer was near the task bar, but not on the task bar itself and hitting the backspace key. So next time try writing a message, but make sure to click inside the message box first.

I don't have that problem but when I try to add or correct a post it skips around and is a pain in the donkey. I don't yet know what is causing that problem either but I think that was the root of the problem with Manda's post a week or so ago. I am working on these issues but it is going slow because of my work schedule.

I give you a lot of credit Dan for going through all you go through to post here. Alot of people would have given up. Thanks for the patience everyone.

I had a similar problem using Internet Explorer, but now I use Firefox or Safari and it doesn't jump around like before.

To me that is the main problem.....if Dan is using IE......for I have just tried doing everything mentioned by the above posts and with firefox, you just delete letter by letter...even if I have clicked on taskbar.....then if I do it with IE.....well the message disappears....and that is with windows 7.
So it's not "your brain is too fast for your keyboard"  :rofl;

bandito, if I could figure out how to copy the pic you sent last night, I'd copy it and flash it to you now...after that ASSinine comment.   lol

But don't worry about it folks.  Doesn't happen all the time and I've adapted.  Also waiting for JC to come update my computer... but to what?

Do I have to pay for Firefox or Safari, or must I wait for my little genius buddy.

I haven't had that problem in PM's, Dan, but when in chat when I hit the backspace it throws me out of chat all together.  ???

Yes, it happened to me in chat a couple of times.  Most often it happens when reply to a post or a PM.

I've tried it in Windows Vista and Windows 7 on IE8 and can't get the exact problem that either dan or kelly have. No idea what is causing it or how I fixed it the last time when I had XP. I should have took notes.
