    Hey I can soon start on the donkeys again  :2thumbsup;

"I simply don't feel funny or entertaining anymore."   I beg to differ on that sentence, you made me smile as soon as I joined this site and you continue to do so (though with my country bumpkin mind, it takes a few secs to catch on) and as for the chats we have.  :oops;..well the "ladies" will agree with me.
I told you in chat.....use your humour, good looks (thats what B said) and hook up with a nurse (preferably one from a different dept) and live life to the full :shy;
If ya dont.....I will send the Irish Saint over there to sort you out..... :rofl;

Getting the heck out of town.

Guys and Del,  I'd posted so negatively the past few days and didn't want to continue on that note.  It's not your fault.  You chat room friends mean a lot to  me.  And I have a private donkey for you Rob and Phil (sorry del, x rated).

I just wanted people who seemed to care to know it wasn't all in my imagination.  You'd be really surprise what people care and which ones could care less about things that don't affect them.  Yes, it is the people with all the special words of support for each other.

I'm sorry about  someone criticizing you Rob, but hang in.  Don't leave.  I need you hear.  You can go in  March if you still want to.  lol

I moved this from off-topic as dialysis has been mentioned.

The topic made me think about what a day might mean for a kidney patient. I was talking to Jenna about how amazing dialysis is. Without it she would have died on or near December 22, 2004. She had gone from a creatinine of 6 to 10 in a matter of days, and had to be admitted for emergency dialysis that day. I don't know how long she might of survived, but she was in real dire straits. So a day can really matter, especially if it would have been her date of death.

   Every day matters because I'm in it for a reason.

   Best wishes for: Karol, Jenna, and everyone at IHD.

We all care about each other here or I don't think we would continue to post.  Some may convey their concern for another with helpful hints. Others with a joke.  We all react differently.    I keep a list (I have mentioned before) so I can readily see who I need to say a prayer for or a kind word.  Some days that is overwhelming and I don't say much at all.   I am grateful for "my"  today.   I guess we each have to find our reason, our purpose, our path --and those change everyday.   Kind of like finding your positive for the day.   As Del has said, some days you have to look very hard to find one tiny glimmer.   Maybe some day it is just a good meal!   That is as good as it gets.

Hope everyone can find a good reason for today.    :grouphug;

Del, Rob, Phil, Twirl, looney and billy, you've all taken the time to write personal notes to me and I believe you know what I am feeling.  For several months now I've not expressed need for encouragment or insight into my problems.  I'm rather sorry now that I did.  You've shown your sensitivity by responding and not having a superior attitude but just an understanding.  I shall avoid this kind of post in the future but thank you.  Actually I am beginning to avoid more kinds of threads than I participate in.  lol  I did change my signature line.  However I doubt anyone read it except a couple of you.

Surely something will get settled tomorrow or Monday.  I will survive said the soul singer.

I hope things get worked out for you Dan.  :cuddle;

 :bow; I am glad that you're all here.
I think I would have gone mad the last few weeks without you.
Jenna seems to feel fine now that we aren't injecting her or taking more of her blood. Her poor lily white arms are black and blue all over.
We wait for the biopsy results. Creatinine still hovering around 4.0, which is not encouraging.  :(
 :thx; Today I am grateful for IHD.

   Dan   You are a very good listener......   And I do listen with you....  Lets change tomorrow......
