Or something like that. I was complaining about having posts "Logged" Since then, I've come to realize that all posts are logged. I think what I was wondering about was why some posts, have in the little "Quote" Icon it says "print" and I/we can't seem to reply. Today, I went to look for that post to see if there was any explanation (other than I'm just crazy) and the post is gone. I looked and looked. I arranged the posts by "Started by" and went to the page that had all of my posts and it wasn't there. There's bound to be some sort of explanation for this. Is it the person that is moderating the group? is it the person that is moderation the group deciding, "Huh, I just don't like that." and taking it off.  In the past, some moderator moved a post to an area that I don't get to at all with no explanation or warning or anything. I imagine that everyone goes to all of these other groups, but I only get to this group. Even though I don't come here that ofter, maybe I come here too much.

Hurlock, your post has been moved to the proper section.  http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=17312.    No post is every deleted.  They are moved to keep order.  You have posted before that you think you posts are being removed. Again, they are all there.  Let the admins team know if you are having more problems.  We are here to help.

Hi Hurlock,
There are 2 admins, Sluff and okarol. And the moderators are Bajanne, Kitkatz, paris, Rerun and Epofriend. Contact us if you need help. As paris mentioned, your posts were moved to the section "Site Requests, Comments, Technical Help" as they are related to forum technical issues.
If you have trouble locating one of your previous posts - try going to your Profile (you can get there by clicking the blue button on the bar that is below and to the right of the SEARCH box.) On the left column of the profile page you'll find "SHOW POSTS" and you can see everything you posted.
I hope that helps.

Just ask a moderator Hurlock.  I 'lost' one the other day and they found it for me - it was just a hitch.  Sometimes posts are hard to find later though.  And if you think you come here too often where on earth does that leave me????  :rofl;

Yeah, but that still doesn't answer my question. Why would a post, only a few days old in some cases, be impossible to reply to or why would the quote icon just say print? I think that there might be too many cooks. I realize that there has to be order, but it seems to me that in an imperfect world, mistakes can be made. That thing about Amgen (epogen) went away and came back after I complained. I'd hate to see this thing become a forum decided by peoples tastes or opinions. It seems to me that if there is controversy, the moderators should allow the conversation run its course. It seems to me that in order to read every post in every catagory it takes a lot of time. Paris, you seem to be a lovely person not only encouraging but supportive, I sometimes wonder if the reward for doing such a job as this is worth it. It seems to me that the only people that had a reply were moderators, and none of them answered the core question.

I've never had a problem posting a reply, finding a post, etc.  Sorry you're having such difficulty.  Good Luck.

Hurlock,
If you are not logged in it says PRINT in the upper right corner. That's the only option available for people who are not members or ARE NOT SIGNED IN. Try it and see. Log out and then click on a post. You'll see what I mean.
There is no big conspiracy here. I think you are having more trouble navigating the forum than usual, but with use you will have more success. We have not removed or deleted your posts. If you need assistance please PM me anytime and I will help you.
Thanks,

To tell the truth, I don't remember. I do remember the group was something to do with banners and linking to IHD. For whatever reason I can't seem to find the group.

If it was on this website and you posted then you can go to your profile and read your posts.  When you get to the one that looks familiar just click on the title and it will take you right to it.

Banners? Banners typically means advertisements on a website
Post usually have text or text with pictures beneath.

Another idea is to copy and paste the link of that thread to Word document or as a draft letter in an email along with a title to it so you can remember what the link is for. otherwise we're all picking at straws trying to decipher what you mean and we can't pry into your head to take a look. ;D

Hey James. Look at your profile. Then click on SHOW POSTS. That's what I did and it was easy to find the post - so here it is: http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=2759.msg302324#msg302324

Hurlock,

Another idea is try using the search feature. Just type a word or two of the subject title of what you are looking for and you should find it.

If that doesn't work you can go to your profile and click on recent posts. And if that doesn't work you can click on Show new replies to your posts. under your name at the top of the screen.

That's a good question. I don't know. I had a link to IHD on my website that didn't include any banners. The links page is my home page on my computer, it has a search engine and links to places I go to on a regular basis; IHD, IMDB, netflix, TV guide, the bank, the library,  weather.com. . ., all kinds of links right there on the page so I don't have to thumb through the bookmarks. I have some art, music and video that I produced but there is very little that anybody'd surf to the site just to see.
