do lots o us kidney pt have teeth sensitivity?
Do u?
When did it start, does it get better or worse at times?
What responses have u gotten from the med professionals?

I had cold sensitivity before i started D. It was mild and easy to deal with.
The only responce i have gotten from the docs is it could be drug interaction.
After 20 mo of D it has been the past few to that have become hot and cold sensitive. Say eating hot pizza hurts i use very little ice or no ice.  ive been on lots of antibotics? Lately and cut my meds down to the essiciantial nexium diovan and attavan.
Im curious if other are dealing w this.

I also suffer from tooth-sensitivity & I use a toothpaste which helps to act against
this sensitivity & I brush/clean my teeth after every meal.
I do suffer from multiple drug-intolerance (allergies to tablets) & other allergies
& I know that if the gum recedes it can expose a sensitive part of the tooth.
This exposing of the sensitive part of the tooth commonly occurs, I believe,
as one grows older & certain foods have a harsh effect on this exposed part of the tooth.
Now, I do not know if there is anything particular about people who suffer from kidney failure
& have sensitive teeth. I am not on Dialysis yet but I do suffer from sensitive teeth.
It would be interesting to see whether other ESRF-patients have the same condition of sensitive teeth
particularly if they were young people as this might show a connection with kidney failure, ESRF & sensitive teeth.
It would also be helpful to exchange tips on how to deal with it.

My teeth get cold easy, also when my calcium is up they hurt and I have to use tylenol.
