Yeah! I hope everything works out for the best and that you and your donor are safe and sound in the end. It must be so thrilling to know you're getting a new kidney. I know someone that had a transplant a while back and he said the Dr. said right before the surgery "are you ready to start feeling a whole lot better?"

Congratulations on the fantasmic news Neo.  You've also given hope to those of us who've been waiting for what seems like an eternity on the transplant list.  (I've been on Dialysis six years as well.)

Here's to a successful transplant and a steroid free medication regimen.

Dont let dialysis stop you...

Thanks a lot.. Me and my donor are starting a blog to document our journey from now til surgery. I hope it does give hope to highly sensitized dialysis patients because I didn't think I had a chance in hell of matching with my donor just because of all the let downs before with other friends getting tested. But I am proof that it IS POSSIBLE. So hopefully nothing goes wrong in the next 6 months, and hopefully this is my last Christmas on dialysis... Don't forget there is ALWAYS HOPE..
