I have had the taste of milk in my mouth a lot the last 2 weeks. Its a slightly sweet taste. I googled it but there aren't any solid answers. Two suggestions were bacteria and yeast infection. Any ideas?

Having odd tastes in your mouth can be a sign of toxins in your system.  I'm presuming you still haven't started dialysis?

Hmmmmm, haven't heard of a milky taste in the mouth, just a metallic one.  It's most likely related to the kidneys in some way.  Wish I could help.

I haven't started dialysis yet. last month my creatinine was 3.4. I am having night sweats, many people say that it is due to toxins also. I love my life. I'm getting my hips xrayed in the morning. The idea of being put in a wheel chair at thirty is depressing.

Talked to my doc. She agrees, it's the toxins.

It depends on my next labs, but probably in a month or two. I am having tests on my stomach Tuesday to see if i can do Pd. She wants me to set up an apt with the transplant people to get to know them.
