Hi Roger....

Sounds like a really interesting article...

Unfortunately, whenever I try to open it I get a 'Page Can Not Be Found' message....

Thanks Roger....

VERY interesting... Am I to take that this article relates to Pre-Dialysis patients???... I often wondered just how safe it is... When Mum was on haemo she was on Arenesp 20 each week... Now since being stabalised on CAPD, she's just taking Arenesp 10 every two weeks, so I feel a bit easier, as the dose is so much lower...

I suppose it's all a balancing act... We try to weigh up the pros and cons, and come to a decision (and just hope to God, we make the right one!)...

Keep the articles coming, please...

Thanks again...

Yes this does refer to predialysis patients.

It can get confusing fast with epo studies as big Pharma really really want EPO to be considered safe.

As a rule of thumb when a manufacturer of the drug releases negative data on the drug that means they just cant spin it positive in any way.

Ah Ha!!!!... I see....

Well, I'll be watching the data closely.... At the moment, I'm watching Mum... She's very unsteady today... Fell back three times while trying to sit up this morning... She's VERY tired, too... Can't understand it... It's so sudden... I got a good look at this morning's dialysis fluid, it's crystal clear.... But just in case, I'll be checking out this afternoon's fluid, too...

God bless, and thanks for keeping us so well informed....
