Marvin entered the "Kidney Times" essay contest ("What helps you live a joyful life in spite of kidney disease?").  He won second place -- and a $300 prize.

Here's a link to the "Kidney Times" website.

Petey, (Marvin),

Congratulations on a very neat article.  I enjoyed reading all of them because it just shows what life is all about.  All the fun thing that happens that does not revole around dialysis.   :2thumbsup; :clap;

WTG Marvin!  What's he gonna spend the $$ on?  My daughter Molly will be so exited if she thinks she can enter things and win money....might get her writing.  How did you know you could enter it?

Hanify -- somebody posted it here a while back (the fact that they were having the contest and how to enter).  I think it was Okarol who posted it.  Marvin wants to use the prize money to get a new laptop for his "clinic" (he plays on the computer the whole time he's on his home hemo treatments).  I know I'll have to put a little with his prize money to get him the type laptop he wants, but he's worth it!

Bravo Marvin...

Hey get all the money you can from Petey for your new laptop.  I hear she has stashes of it hidden.
