As an advocate for my partner who is recovering from a stroke, what is your guess that he will be eliminated from the transplant list?  Does anyone know of an individual who received a transplant with a history of a stroke (cardiac function is not impaired)

What was the originating cause of the stroke? (if known) That might matter.

A stroke caused by high blood pressure caused by renal failure/fluid overload might not have so much effect on the decision, since those factors will be eliminated by the transplanted kidney.

But I'm not very familiar with all the transplant committee requirements.
