Life is great!

« on: April 03, 2007, 03:10:06 PM »

Thanks to all those who have checked up to see if I am OK and sorry I haven't been back to you.  I have been really sick but still trying to front at work every day for both  job security and relative normality.  My sister has just had emergency surgery, my Dad in intensive care with a bad infection in his graft and my husband just got carted off to hospital with a suspected broken back after falling off a ladder....so things are pretty hectic. Right now, I am probably the healthiest of my bunch and trust me that ain't saying much. To make matters worse, they are all in different hospitals........just God trying to make my life more interesting with a slap of the dramatic. I have a few minutes free this morning as the guys are here at home at the moment organising the plumbing for my dialysis machine....don't know when I am going to find the time to use it though.

Hope you are all well and as soon as I stop hospital hopping, I will get back to all the PM's I have had. I go to bed a night or in the wee small hours of the morning and I think I should get up and check out the site but my mind and body just won't let me.  I lie there though and send lots of loving thoughts to everyone and feel lousy that I have not been in to check and see how Angela and Jenna are going with their new kidneys.

I promise once my family is back on deck, I will put all you guys first.

Lots of love, Lucinda........xxxxxx

  So sorry about your family's misfortunes, and all at once & different hospitals!  That must be very stressful and hectic for you.  Hope your sis heals quickly, you dad's infection gets under control, and your hubby does not have a broken back...  Meanwhile, thanks for checking in, but you need your rest, just know you are in our thoughts and prayers!    :grouphug;

Wow, Lucinda, you hit the Misery Trifecta!  I'm sorry it couldn't have been the state lottery instead!  Sounds as if you're hanging in there really well - you and your family are all in my prayers, and I hope things improve for everyone really soon.
