Has anyone got dark urine after exercise?

Hello friends    The other day I did a bit too much of a walking (3 km) plus some exercise.  I'm on peritoneal dialysis.  The next day I woke up with a lot of muscule pain and later developed dark brown urine (this was last friday)   by saturday night, the urine colour was normal again.        I heard that this isnt so uncommon, no matter if on dialysis or not.

I work out 4-5 times a week and am also on PD. I've not had anything like that happen to me in the time I've been exercising. If it cleared up, I wouldnt stress over it too much, but would certainly would mention it to your team the next time you meet with them.

Maybe you just got dehydrated.

On fluid restriction, it's real easy to get dehydrated from exercising in the sun.  My neph and nurses told me to relax the fluid restriction when I do that kind of exercise.  After all, even if I can't urinate out that much fluid anymore, I can sure sweat it out.

Next time you want to exercise, weigh yourself first.  Then weigh yourself after exercise.  You may be surprised how much weight you lost through perspiration.
