Hey Sunny

I'm sorry you are feeling down.  I was lucky enough to have a fair bit of notice about my impending dialysis so I got in a whole lot of trips in the six months before I started so I wouldn't have any regrets.  I have been on dialysis for nearly five months now and I feel terrific.  Bad start but now I am feeling great, full of energy and really happy.  Doing it at home I think makes a difference. I am still going to take another couple of months off work and play tennis and catch up with friends I haven't seen since I started but I am really keen now to get back into work.  I noticed though that my mood still changes from one week to the next - depending on my energy levels.  Even though I hate - and I mean hate - to do exercise when I feel buggered, I still do it and I feel better afterwards.  I just promise myself a hot bubble bath and chill out music and a glass of champagne when I have done it.  I broke my ankle a couple of weeks ago - calcium defiency - didn't even do much for that to happen - tripped over a bucket of golf balls - but even with that I am pretty pleased with how well I feel.  The mood will pass and you really get to enjoy your weekends away far more than you might have when you were well.  Don't take so much for granted anymore.  Every second of every day counts.  xx
